We deeply appreciate each one who serves our country. We are saddened by the current events and the toll it is taking on each person affected. Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you…”. Our desire is to show the love of Jesus to each one who is in need during this time.

Donate

Donations are being accepted now.  Check and cash donations will be used to purchase grocery and gas gift cards to distribute to those in need. Please deliver non-perishable food items, diapers and wipes, as well as gift cards, (Gas Cards $20 - $30 increments, Grocery Gift Cards $20 - $30 increments) to the church office listed below.

  1. Please send checks or gift cards to P.O. Box 1168, Morgantown, WV 26507 with "Government Shutdown Relief" noted on the envelope. Checks should have "Government Shutdown Relief" in the memo line.

  2. Or, please deliver to StoneBridge Baptist Church, 6510 Mall Rd, Morgantown, WV 26501, Monday, January 28th through Thursday, January 31st from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & Friday evening 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m

RECEIVING relief

Any federal employee needing assistance is welcome to attend our open house on Saturday, February 2nd from 9:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. Please register by clicking on the link below. Please bring your federal employee ID. If a person is the spouse of a federal employee, and the federal employee is unable to come, we require them to bring a copy or picture of the affected employees federal ID. Only those with proof of federal employment and of an agency affected by the government shutdown will be assisted. We hope to help all who are in need, if only in some small way. Assistance is only available as long as supplies last on February 2nd from 9:00 a.m through 1:00 p.m. By registering, we hope to provide fair access to everyone throughout the event.
