Proverbs 11:25 (NLT) says,

The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

This past Tuesday morning Pastor Kyle Hamlin and I were blessed with some great fellowship among our I-79 Corridor Pastors. We traveled to Washington, PA to spend some time with Pastors Aaron Johnson, Jonathan Woodring, Todd Calaway, Scott Bates, Russell Knight and our honorary member, Brother Richard "Woody" Woodruff. These men have truly helped me over the years to remain steadfast in the faith, as well as remaining on the wall (of ministry) when I want to come down.

Friendships that we share in this life are so vital to our spiritual well-being. If you do not have a group of people to refresh you when you're tired, then, you're likely to fall off the wagon of ministry. Let me encourage you to be the kind of friend that refreshes others. The writer of this Proverb said that the generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Our church has been truly blessed this year with new people, new church members, and new family members. As of September 6, 2015, we have had 141 first time guests at StoneBridge. We have baptized twenty-three people so far, and have added several new members to our family. We pray for God's continual blessings to flow through our body as we seek to share His love with the people of Morgantown and the world in such a way that they have the best opportunity to become fully developing followers of Jesus Christ.

May God bless you as you REFRESH others!
